OSKC is a karate club which concentrates on training hard with the traditional attitude in which good karate should always be practised. In one respect this is the reason why there are only a small number of students. In todays society there is a vast number of different martial arts to choose from, and many of them like to promote students rapidly, teaching advanced techniques within a short space of time. At OSKC we concentrate on teaching solid basic techniques on which through dedication and hard work one can build gradually becoming an all round better karate-ka. Today, Sensei Richardson (4th Dan) continues to run and promote the club in the same traditional manner in which it began. He continues to train regularly under Sensei Ohta (6th Dan) and is committed to improving the standard of his students. |
